I have no illusions that AI can do my job better than I can. And I'm not afraid that anything I think makes me special can be done better by AI.
I think many people are afraid of becoming insignificant if AI is better than they are. The human hybrid is something that probably gives many people meaning and significance.

Culture is already soulless today.
(There are exceptions, of course: indie games made with love, small niche films, or songs far removed from big studios).
